Notifications - Email Alerts:
Merchants can now be configured to receive email alerts in response to the following circumstances:
- A merchant notification handler path is down:
This is an optional email alert that can be sent to a merchant when their notification handler path (HTTP URL) is not responding with a HTTP success code indicating a successful handout. This alert works in conjunction with a “number of minutes” value that will indicate how long we will wait until we send out an alert to the Merchant. The default value is 30 and this value can be configured by a Merchant. This is a per path alert and will only be sent once per path. When the path is back up, another email alert will be sent to report this.
-
A merchant notification has expired:
This is an optional email alert that can be sent to a merchant when our attempts to deliver a notification to your handler have been exhausted. This is a per notification alert.
To enable these email alerts, merchants need to email provisioning@dialogue.co.uk with the following details:
- Which brand/s would you like the email alerts to be enabled for?
- Which alert would you like enabling: expired notifications, path down alerts or both?
- Which email addresses would you like the email alerts sending to.
- If you have selected to enable the path down alert, you can then specify the number of minutes that a path has to be down before sending an email alert.
Payforit WAP Flow Options:
The Payforit scheme rules specify four possible scenarios for the presentation of successful payment screens on the mobile web (WAP session) for one-off purchases and subscriptions.
Each scenario provides a different consumer journey. The matrix below provides an overview of the four options available for both the one-off purchase screens and also the subscription set up screens:

The default setting for a merchant will be the option 1 presentation screens for both the one off purchase screens and also the subscription set up screens. If merchants would like to specify a different option then they must complete the Mobile Payments Merchant Application Form and submit to provisioning@dialogue.co.uk
