What is SMS Toolkit?
The Dialogue SMS Toolkit consists of a developer API that allows you to make use of Dialogue’s SMS services and to connect these to your own or third-party applications.
With code samples, library files and API guides, developers can get started once you sign up for your free SMS API account to start sending text messages using Dialogue’s high performance and reliable SMS gateway.

SMS REST APIs
The developer API is implemented as a RESTful web service, which is accessed over HTTP using XML or JSON. The SMS REST API follows the REST principles and it’s easy to use. The Dialogue Restful API uses POST requests for submitting SMS messages.
The API is language-neutral; it can be accessed from any language or platform that supports performing HTTP 1.1 requests. However, to get you started quickly, we do provide some code samples in our Quick Start Guides, which are targeted at .NET Framework (using the C# language), Java and PHP developers.
Examples of use
The SMS Toolkit can be used for different types of communication depending on the nature of your business. Below are just some examples of how SMS can be used with Dialogue’s SMS gateway.
SMS Reminders
Send customer reminders for overdue payments or collections, confirm appointment reminders, meetings or event dates, etc.
SMS Notifications
Notify customers on status updates, change of details, bank notices and balance updates, etc.
