Content Management System

Dialogue’s content platform provides a solution that allows you to upload content. It supports all multimedia formats and ensures that content delivered to a particular handset is capable of receiving the files by using User Agent Profiling.

Today’s mobile phones are capable of receiving content in a variety of different multimedia formats including: images; sound (wave) files, used as truetones, video clips, polyphonic ringtones; java games or applications, screensavers (or animated images and MMS (Multimedia Messages), which allow a combination of different media in a single message.)

Dialogue's content platform provides a solution for all of these content types.
It's key features include:

• The ability to upload content and store it for users to order and download
• Automatic content rendering for images and polyphonic files where content can be rendered according to the phones’ capabilities. The platform uses User Agent Profiling to achieve this

User Agent Profiles give a specification for the type of content that can be delivered to the phone and the content platform uses this to make sure that content is delivered in the right way. This can be done in two ways:

• By uploading content for different phone types. For example a Java game might have 3 different versions which run on different handset types, and the platform is able to send the correct version based on the User Agent Profile
• By automatic content adaptation – this is where the platform will re-scale images to make them fit the phones screen dimensions and convert them to the correct colour depth
